Build and export a custom report

The report builder can return detailed rows and add grouped or summary analysis to the same result.

Build a report

1. Open Reports and choose the business object or dataset.
2. Select the columns required in the row-level table.
3. Add filters such as workspace, owner, stage, channel, source, or date.
4. Add a grouping when you want subtotals by a dimension.
5. Add metrics such as count, sum, average, conversion, or revenue.
6. Generate the report and verify both the detailed rows and the summary section.

No bucket means values are grouped exactly as stored. Date buckets such as day, week, or month combine timestamps into reporting periods.

Changing a metric or grouping updates the report definition, but the detailed row table remains part of the generated report. Export includes the report metadata, metrics or group summary, and detailed rows rather than silently dropping the summary.

Safe reporting practices

• Confirm the workspace and date range before sharing an export.
• Treat contact details and message-derived fields as personal data.
• Prefer aggregated reporting when row-level customer data is unnecessary.
